How do you build a guitar with a lot of character? You find wood with history. It takes a high level of skill to capture history and build in the human connections.

Only three weeks until the KC Guitar Show at Ward Parkway Shops.
Here is another one of a kind guitar you can see (and buy).
This was commissioned as the re-creation of the #1 prototype of the original guitar designed by Leo Fender in 1949.
There was only one made. Its was designated for the Leo Fender Gallery in the Fullerton Museum Center. Leo Fender, the father of the solid body electric guitar was a life-long resident of Fullerton, California.

Please put Oct. 10-11 on your calendars. There will be plenty of rare guitars to see and buy. If you have a guitar you don’t play much, bring it to the KC Guitar Show and walk away with cash or trade it for another. That’s the kind of fun we like.
More vendors are coming. There are a few spots left.
Now here is the special deal:
The Guitar Dealers Association is offering 50% off tickets.
When you buy a Saturday Ticket, use the discount code GDA1 at checkout.
When you buy a Sunday Ticket, use the code GDA2 at checkout.

Every Guitar Has A Story will be videotaping both days.
If you have a cool axe with a story, please contact us to get on camera.
Here’s one of our favorite stories from the last Kansas City Show:

Rick Knapp tells the story of a bass guitar that has been around the world a few times. If you like name dropping, this will be your favorite episode to date. If you like autographed instruments, you might be more than a little jealous.
