Jimmy Page playing Stairway To Heaven or Don Felder playing Hotel California are iconic images of double neck guitars in concert. The purpose was for those players to switch from 6 string to 12 string format without having to change guitars.



Patrick Lamb brought a double neck that was a 6 string and bass double neck. In a show band, a guitar player would reach around while he played bass.



 
 
 

We held a Shattercaster. Bob Jackson, Mitch Ryder’s old guitar player knew we would be amused.


I went looking for the luthier and found Devil & Sons. The concept seems to be a playable aftermath of the rock star that smashed or burned his guitar in concert. What if you glorified the abuse but made it playable again?
