You are going to The KC Guitar Show at Ward Parkway Shops.

It is possible that some of you have not been to Ward Parkway.

Allow us to introduce you.

This has been one of Kansas City’s favorite places to shop for over 50 years.

It has a marker in our nation’s history as the home of the first multiplex theater in the USA. AMC is still there. It has expanded from 2 screens to 14.

Amazing renovations to the mall and the addition of The Pavilion has kept Ward Parkway as a popular, high traffic destination.

KC Guitar Show will be easy to find. Use the State Line entrance.

Come into the glass enclosed part of the mall.

Buy tickets online and use the discount codes listed below.

If you bring a guitar, just get it tagged at the Guitar Show entrance.

When you leave, show the tag or a receipt for a guitar you bought or traded for.

You are in! This is not a huge show with a hundred vendors. Look around.

We are expecting about 100 guitars that you can’t see in a store.

Are you a collector? We have two historic collections for sale.

Seriously, you will see some famous guitars.

Are you a player? We have a nice selection of luthiers that will show you

their custom builds and talk about how to hot rod your favorite axe.

Oct. 11-12 should be on your calendars. It is the time you can

make your wife happy and sell one of your guitars.

Only two weeks until the KC Guitar Show at Ward Parkway Shops.

We added another luthier to the show. As much as I love vintage guitars

and the amazing stories that are attached to them, I love luthiers a little more.

Welcome blankc guitars. Spencer is bringing three styles.

Doppel, which is like a double-cutaway tele/coronet hybrid.

Fetty, which I also call 334, which is a solid-body 335ish guitar

Skinny, my "skinny strat.”

He says he is a little nervous facing the scrutiny of the guitar nerds.

I hope he sells all 8 that he is bringing.

I am also excited to see The Fountain City Guitarworks.

Not only can these guys fix any guitar problems you may have,

They make Self guitars. “New guitars that feel old.”

North American Guitars will have customs on display.
